A push-your-luck diving game by Oink Games
Collect the most treasure points by diving for treasure and safely returning to the submarine before oxygen runs out.
The game is played over 3 rounds.
In each round, players dive down the path, collect treasure, and try to return.
All players share the same oxygen supply.
The more treasure you have, the slower you move.
1 Submarine (start space)
1 Oxygen marker token (shared air supply marker)
14 Empty tokens
6 Diver pawns
2 Dice
32 Treasure tokens (values: 0–15) 8 of each of the following levels:
Triangles (valued 0–3)
Squares (valued 4–7)
Pentagons (valued 8–11)
Hexagons (valued 12–15)
Place the submarine in the middle of the playing area.
Place the air marker on the "25" position.
Put the treasure tokens value-side down, and shuffle them thoroughly.
Line up the treasure tokens in order by level where level one is closest to the submarine.
Each player chooses a diver piece.
The person that has gone swimming most recently goes first. Play continues clockwise for the first dive.
At the end of the third dive, after cleanup, players total their points (the values of all the treasure tokens they brought back to the submarine). The player with the highest sum wins. If there is a tie, the player with the most high-level chips wins. If this does not resolve the tie, the winner is whomever can hold their breath the longest out of the players involved in the tie.
On your turn:
Reduce the oxygen supply by one for each treasure token you are carrying. If the level reaches zero during this step, you continue your turn, but it is the last turn of the dive.
Decide if you will turn back or not. If you do not declare that you are returning to the submarine before you roll, you must continue deeper. You cannot turn back around once opting to return to the submarine, but you may continue collecting treasure on your way back up.
Roll both dice and add them together. Subtract movement based on treasure you are carrying, then move the full amount:
Subtract the total number of treasure tokens you carry.
Minimum movement is 0.
When moving past another player, jump over that space without counting it.
If your roll takes you beyond the last treasure token, stop on that piece
Treasure Hunt (pick up or drop treasure) Perform one of the following actions:
Do nothing
Pick up the treasure piece, and place it in front of you without turning it over to reveal its value. Place an empty token in its place. You are now carrying that treasure. You can carry any number of treasures.
If you landed on an empty token, you may drop a treasure token of your choice. Replace the empty token with the treasure token you are dropping.
At the end of a dive, perform the following cleanup actions
Players that made it back to the submarine before the oxygen ran out turn over their treasure tokens to reveal their values. They keep these tokens for scoring at the end of the game. These do not count as carried treasure in future dives.
Players that did not make it back to the submarine drop their treasure to the bottom of the sea and return to the submarine. In order, starting from the diver closest to the submarine, players stack their treasure tokens (in any order) next to the deepest token. Once three tokens have been stacked, the next token starts a new stack at the end of the line. These stacks now function as a single treasure token in subsequent dives. All tokens in a stack get picked up and dropped together and count as one token when calculating air consumption and movement.
Remove all empty tokens and slide remaining tokens together to close any gaps.
The next dive order is determined by the order in which players return to the submarine. The last player to return goes first; the first player to return goes last.
